Accurate and early characterization of the clinical and neuroimaging attributes of neurodegenerative diseases are important for the success of future molecule-specific therapeutics. This talk will focus on two specific neurodegenerative brain disorders. In the first part of this talk, I will discuss the voxel-based morphometry changes in sporadic Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease. I will also present neuroimaging findings related to this disease`s speed of progression based on molecular classification, cognitive symptoms, and the presence or absence of visual hallucinations. In the second part of the talk, I will present the clinical, socioemotional, neuroimaging, and pathological characteristics of right temporal lobe neurodegeneration.
